Boy it's COLD

Well, we got back home and while we were in the south, Grand Forks got another 5 inches of the white stuff. We have had a record month in snowfall. Here is an excerpt from the National Weather Service:
Grand Forks and Fargo each set records with more than 30 inches of snow for December. Fargo topped its 1927 record for December by about an inch while Grand Forks topped its 1918 record of 27.6 inches.
We have to pile snow a few feet deep around the driveways and sidewalks while parking lots have mountains of snow! We picked a great time to move. While the temperature remains below freezing the stuff is no big deal. Take a look at the above image. Yeah, this temperature is typical. Some people are starting to fear the Spring thaw. We have not had this much snow since the Floods of 1997. I guess we will wait and see.
